ComEdge DM was designed with our customers in mind by putting as few steps as possible between the scanning of the image and getting back to ComEdge. The DM software also allows for color scanning, black and white scanning, grayscale scanning and duplex scanning with varying degrees of DPI. The major benefit of duplex scanning is that blank pages are ignored and not saved which saves the customer disk space and time by not viewing blank images. On top of that, our software is also compliant with many scanners on the market as long as they offer TWAIN support which is an industry standard for scanning.
Not only does our DM product offer the ability to scan, but it also offers the ability to drag and drop from virtually anywhere on the pc to the ComEdge DM program. This means that emails, contact information, word documents, excel spreadsheets, pictures, blueprints, etc...; basically anything that can be seen on the pc can be saved to ComEdge DM. Documents can also be saved from the clipboard, cd-rom, dvd-rom, flash drive, etc...
Although ComEdge DM is laid out very well in an organized manner, the software is also fully searchable. This means that if only a certain portion of the saved file name or even image type is known, all that is required is to type what is known and hit search, that's it. The results are then displayed in the bottom left of the screen with file names, sizes and dates to help you better track your documents and where they are located saving you time.
