Servall Selects ComEdge and Implements Route Accounting

Sioux Falls, SD - Servall Towel And Linen has selected Software Alternatives to implement the ComEdge Enterprise Suite, complete with a mobile Direct Store Delivery application into their organization.
Servall Towel And Linen provides employee clothing, towels and linen products to the businesses, schools, restaurants, and industrial customers throughout the upper Midwest. In a move to streamline billing, inventory management and increase customer service, Servall established a business partnership with Software Alternatives to implement the ComEdge Enterprise Suite into their organization. Building on the extremely flexible ComEdge Version 4.0 platform, Software Alternatives custom tailored the suite to meet the unique needs of the linen industry while retaining all of the features found in the standard version.
In addition to streamlining Servall's management and office operations, Software Alternatives also developed a unique mobile route accounting system for their route drivers. Using hardware from Symbol Technologies and the new m-ComEdge DSD software, route drivers now have access to each customer's account information and can create invoices, accept payments and capture signatures while in the field. At the end of the route, drivers simply synchronize their handhelds with ComEdge to upload orders and prepare for the next days route.
